I have installed the PRISM V1.4 Demo Version (downloaded Jun 17 2002) but I only get the 'Unable to connect to Common Elements Database, teminating...' message. My PC meets all of the stated minimum requirements (Windows NT4/SP6). What next?

Unfortunately, our testing did not reveal this issue but I believe the following will take care of the problem:


Open up the BDE Administrator ( Start, Settings, Control Panel ) and select the Configuration tab. Click the "+" next to the following: Configuration, Drivers, Native. Select the driver named "MSACCESS". Look at the DLL32 property on the right side and make sure it says "IDDA3532.DLL". If not, when you select the property a drop down list will become available. Please select the aforementioned dll and select Object, Apply from the menu at the top of the window to complete the change.
