If I know the [total maintenance time] can I say that :
[total operating time] = [total time] - [total maintenance time]? If yes where can I find the equation in Reliability Toolkit, MIL-HDBK-338, etc? Thanks

Is the long-term reliability restricted to certain packaging styles (BGA, PLCC, TSOP etc.) or the board material (FR-4, ceramic)?
Are these devices free of hazardous substances reliable for long term.

We are trying to simulate the wearout of bearings and brushes. The motor manufacturer data sheet claims the MTBF of bearings is 50000 hours under nominal load conditions at 10000rpm. There is no description of what "nominal load condition" is. We would like to test this claim. How do we set up the test? Thanks for all the help in advance.
