Subject: Prism V's the Rest
What are the benefits of using the PRISM Software against those from Relex or Isograph (or similiar)for the purpose of obtaining failure rates?

Subject: GPS and Loran C availability
Does anyone have or know where to get goverment published GPS and Loran C avaiability numbers? Jamming not considered, only basic system availability.

I am seeking advice on up-rating to extend the operating temperature range of an equipment beyond that specified for individual components used. Is it an acceptable method to up-rate by functionally testing the equipment at the extended range, and not to individually test components at the extended range? Can you also please advise of any other sources of guidance on this subject.

Subject: Reliability predictions
I have a failure data for a component as follows(failed hours) 1,574,611,887,1250,1445,2480,2750,3234,3540,3900,4001,4124, 4180 and 4189 hours
I calculated the relibility of this part using this failed data after plotting manually on weibull plot as 0.112 considering 5000 hours Warranty life. But how can I derive the actual reliability of this component as already some 10000 components are running in field and have already crossed 5000 hours which is our warranty life. Please advice me the appropriate formula to get the actual reliability of this component. Thanks,

Subject: Weibull parameter for MTBF
I need to do a MTBF for an electronic application. If I use the NPRD-95 book, I need to know the Weibull parameter for each component. How can I find this parameter or how can I calculate it from Data sheet components ?
