Subject: Rotating Equipment Failures
Message:
I am looking for information to quantify the reasons various types of rotating equipment fail. I would like data on some typical rotating equipment types like motors, fans, pumps, compressors, etc. if available.
The data will be used to pareto the causes of failures for evaluating options required for satisfactory condition monitoring. I would appreciate any information. Thx Phil Coseno

Information on mttr(mean time to repair). In particular the exact points at which the time is measured to start and end. (ie. does it begin when the fault is diagnosed or when the actual repair begins?)

Subject: Burn In Modelling
Message:
Our company has a multi temperature burn in that systems are subjected to . Included in this burn in the systems power is cycled as well. We are currently using the Bellcore Standard, however it is unable to model this type of burn in. That standards / references can I use to incorporate this into a Bellcore Model or other method to help determine our true burn in time.

Subject: reliability data
Message:
I am trying to calculate MTBF for a cable assembly. This assembly will be composed of electrical wires (normal wires, flat wires for computer, etc) and 2 connectors. Usinga Part count method it can be obtained taken the connector failure data from MIL-HDBK-217 and here come the problem. I havenīt found any data about wires reliability. Looking at NPRD-95 I am not sure if any values there can be used. Any help will be welcomed.
