I would like data on some typical rotating equipment types like motors, fans, pumps, compressors, etc. if available. The data will be used to pareto the causes of failures for evaluating options required for satisfactory condition monitoring. I would appreciate any information. Thx Phil Coseno

In particular the exact points at which the time is measured to start and end. (ie. does it begin when the fault is diagnosed or when the actual repair begins?)

Included in this burn in the systems power is cycled as well. We are currently using the Bellcore Standard, however it is unable to model this type of burn in. That standards / references can I use to incorporate this into a Bellcore Model or other method to help determine our true burn in time. Posted by: Juan C. Rodenas (ils@einsa.es ) Organization:einsa Date posted: Mon Jul 16 7:24:48 US/Eastern 2001 Subject: reliability data Message: I am trying to calculate MTBF for a cable assembly. This assembly will be composed of electrical wires (normal wires, flat wires for computer, etc) and 2 connectors. Usinga Part count method it can be obtained taken the connector failure data from MIL-HDBK-217 and here come the problem. I havenīt found any data about wires reliability. Looking at NPRD-95 I am not sure if any values there can be used. Any help will be welcomed.
