Subject: Failure Rates for Active Matrix LCDs and Cold Cathode Backlight
I am looking for failure rate information for active matrix LCD panels, and also for cold cathode backlights (Airborne Inhabited Fighter envrionment if possible, but not necessary). If anybody can suggest a suitable data source (or better still email me a failure rate) I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Richard.

Subject: Power Inductor Derating
Derating criteria for inductors seems to vary depending on who's doing the derating and their reference guidelines, except that they all seem to include temperature as a criterion. So my question is if you have multiple derating criteria (say current and temperature) and you don't satisfy the first criterion but you do satisfy the temperature criterion, are you adequately derated?

Subject: Transformer Oil Furan Analysis
I would like to know how some other people assess their Furan level results ie, which of the furans indicate what conditions are occurring inside the transformer? what is considered the level of interest/concern/action required? Is certain level of variation in results between routine testing of particular concern?
