Subject: SMT Ferrite Beads - What are people using in MIL-217 and Bellcore 332 Predictions ??
Can anybody provide me with a suggestion for a suitable component to use in a MIL-HDBK-217 or Bellcore TR-332 reliability prediction that would cover a surface mount ferrite or ferrite bead ? Unless I have overlooked something, so far I have not found anything similar apart from possibly a chip resistor as a very loose approximation.

Subject: Improving MTBF
I am doing a reliability study for a standby generator control system. I learned that one way to reach the target MTBF is by increasing the testing frequency. The formula I found to calculate the testing factor is MTBF/2 * target MTBF. The results seem dubious - can you validate this formula?

Subject: Reliability of Engine Driven Gen Sets
Do you have any reliability information, that you can share, on the reliability of engine driven generator sets, in the power range 50 to 100 kW? I need to get a general idea of MTBF, MTTR and preventive maintenance requirements for this type of installation.

Subject: Headset MTBF
I am looking for any information illustrating the calculation of MTBF for a headphone / microphone assembly. Or how others are classifying these devices according to Mil HDBK 217 F
