We are using ceramic cavity filters in our product, some of which may be up to 2.5" long. As these are soldered into a G-10 printed circuit board there is some concern regarding the expected reliability of the solder connections. Our product will be mounted in an outside, non-weatherprotected environment, in a variety of locations around the world, and possibly experience a range of temperature extremes between -30degC to +50degC in normal use.

I would also appreciate any suggestions as to when a piece of equipment goes into volume production how to implement a tailored ESS program, i.e. sample sizes, the point where you screen batches rather than total output, how do you pick a batch etc etc. Thanks in advance
