Failure rate data for from RAC's Non-Electronic Parts Reliability Databook (NPRD-95) for a manually activiated hydraulic valve indicates an average failure rate of 29.2432 failures per million hours. This translates into a failure rate of 34,196 hours, or 3.9 years. Failure mode information from the same source is as follows: Leaking 66.3% Stuck open 11.3% Stuck closed 10.2% Out of Specification 4.7% Cracked/fractured 4.4% No operation 3.0%
