Subject: FPA Assembly
My work is related with reliability of focal plane arrays assembly. Do anyone know how to evaluate the reliability of the FPA assembly.

The Reliability Analysis Center library does not have any reliability models designed for the evaluation of a focal plane array. Our suggestion is that you contact the vendors of the part to obtain any test data they may have collected and then extrapolate the information to your operation. The reason for a lack of a model is due to the number of possible different construction material involved such as: Indium Antimonide, Silicon Gallium-dopped, Mercury Cadium Telluride, Indium Galluim Arsenide, Lead Selenide. All of these material have different failure characteristics and activation energies; therefore, would require extensive modeling of each parameter to determine the reliability. The cost of developing said models would be expensive.
