I am not familiar with Issue 6, but in Issue 5 the Arrhenius Acceleration Model is used to normalize burn-in time that is performed at the device, unit and system level. The first year multiplier factor is determined by the amount of burn-in time accumulated. This factor is standardized at 40C; therefore burn-in performed at different temperatures must be normalized to 40C. Temperature stress curve 7 from Table G is used for the conversion. For example 1 hour of burn-in at 65C would yield an effective time of 3 hours at 40C.
