The RAC publication Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data (NRPD-95) has a summary failure rate of 1.9957 FPMH for a commercial quality pressure sensor used in a GF environment. Additional information on NRPD-95 can be found at the RAC website http://rac.alionscience.com. The “Handbook of Reliability Prediction Procedures for Mechanical Equipment” NSWC-94/L07 also describes a method for analytically estimating the failure rate of a pressure sensor. This handbook is available from NSWC by calling (301)227-4383.
