Most reliability data collection systems for in-house and operational testing have been developed by the teams that are responsible for the test. After reviewing some of the proprietary test logs in our library, the following is a summary of the information usually recorded: * Name of unit under test including serial number * Test date and time (in hourly increments) * Modes of operation (i.e. taxi, takeoff, landing, etc.) * Environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, vibration, other) * Incident reports such as: mision failure, mission degraded, minor degradation, no problem, other * Maintenance report ( failure symptoms, anomalies, operating stresses, enviromnental conditions, corrective action, parts replaced, parts adjusted, other) In our RAC product catalog, we have a report called, "Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System Application Guidelines". This report describes the next level in the data analysis from system testing.
