Subject: reliability of non-electrical component
I am trying to obtain the NPRD95 data, but I am in the process of find internal funds. The problem is that I am trying to obtain a reliability number for an offer to spanish air force. I havenīt found any data about failure rates for the next components:
- Electrohidraulic pressure switches.
- Heat Exchanger (oil).
Please any data that can be send will be appreciate. It is only a gross number, more detail number will be calculated when de design progress.

Dear Mr. Rodenas
In response to failure data for the four parts reference in the Forum, I tried to provide the most applicable failures rates for these parts based on the limited information I have.
Electrohydralic Pressure Switch - this part description was not found in our data base, therefore I am suggesting you a failure rate of 37.8119 which is an average of all military presuure switch.
Flow Meter - part in data base for GF only. Failure rate is 4.7745.
Electrovalve - I an assuming this is a electric activated valve. Due to the other parts, I am assuming that hydraulic oil is the medium. Therefore, a military (AU) environment failure is 47.8589.
Heat Exchanger (Oil) - Omly commercial application failure rate were available for oil heat exchagers. The failure rate is 0.7459
