Now that PRISM as been available for a while, how well has it been accepted in industry internationally as a replacement for 217?

Thank you for your interest in the RAC PRISM product. Released in March of 2000, PRISM has gained wide acceptance in the R&M user community and is quickly becoming the industry standard for system reliability assessments. A demo of the PRISM product may be downloaded from the RAC PRISM web site: http://rac.alionscience.com/prism As you have identified the RAC is providing the opportunity for organizations to resell the PRISM software and/or integrate the PRISM methodology into their products. Currently, RAMS software developers are in the process of integrating (or have already integrated) PRISM into their RAMS product suite. Also, organizations who resell RAMS products offer PRISM in their product offerings. Again, thank you for your interest in PRISM and if you have any questions, please contact me.
