Please let me know how the term Integrity is defined in relation to BIT and whether there is a specification reference that can be cited.

Searched all the Maintainability documents for testability and "integrity" and the only reference is integrity for cable testing in MIL-HDBK-470, Military Handbook Designing and Developing Maintainable Products and Systems. Other sources consulted were: RADC-TR-90-239 Testability / Diagnostics Design Encyclopedia, MIL-HDBK-470 Military Handbook Electronic Reliability Design Handbook, The Reliability Toolkit; Commercial Practices Edition and MIL_STD-2165 Testability Program for Electronic Systems and Equipments. Testability and Built-in-Test design concerns, effectiveness and parameters are all discussed in these documents, but integrity is not a factor cited.
