Subject: Install PRISM demo
Today I downloaded PRISM from During the installation I got an error "Invalid command line arguments. Unable to continue" The install was busy with (or just ended that part) copying/executing c:\TEMP\MDAC_OLP.EXE Clicking the error away it continued to install. At start up of the demo I get the message "Unable to connect to common elements database. Terminating" Software was installed in C:\DATA\PRISM\DEMO System NT version 4 service pack 6 I have an install.log available, but can not attach it in here. John

I downloaded the demo from your site, but with the same results. I installed it twice into 2 different directories C:\RAC\PRISM and the default from the Install, with the same error as described earlier. Following the install.log file What is wrong? Please send the CD-ROM, so that I can try it at home as well. *** Installation Started 02/09/2001 8:52 *** Title: RAC PRISM Demo Installation Source: C:\data\prism\install.exe ADO: Could not be installed properly RegDB Key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\DAO RegDB Val: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO RegDB Name: Path RegDB Root: 2 Version: Following file not copied.
