Subject: Failure statistics again
Message:
I asked you Jan. 26 about MIL-HDBK-217 statistics. I think you misunderstood me! My question to was really about statistics concerning the development of component reliability or growth over the years from early 217 to 217F - “how much have the resistors (or other components) failure rate been improved over the years/(217 issues)?”

As requested the following statistics were developed from the Mil-Hdbk-217 files. The conditions used were ground fixed uncontrolled, temperature 40 degrees C, stress levels at 50%, and no quality factor(base failure rate).
