I am working on a research project and am looking for information about Accelerated Step Stress Testing Models. Is this type of testing the same as HALT testing? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

A good source of information on all forms of accelerated testing including step stress testing can be found in Wayne Nelson's book "Accelerated Testing" John Wiley & Sons 1990. Step stress testing is similar to the Halt testing but is usually not intended to be tested to destruction as is the Halt type of testing.
