We now conduct burn-in on board level for 24 hours, but we think the burn-in condicitons and duration may be different for various types of part, board, and system. Are there any references or standards on this? Thanks.

A old book called "BURN-IN, An Engineering Approach to the Design and Analysis of Burn-in Procedures by Finn Jensen has information on planning and constructing tests for both components and higher levels. The book was published in 1982 by John Wiley and Sons. The ISBN number is 0-471-10215-6. The information should be useful as you have already established a failure data base which can be evaluated using the Jensen procedures and tests either lengthened or shortened based on real performance data.
