Subject: Codes and Standards
Would someone please bring me up to date on the status of the Reliability and Maintainability Standards. I need to know what is being used in specifications in lieu of Mil-Std 785, 781 and 470 and 471. Thanks if anybody can steer me to the latest update on that I would appreciate it.

Go to for on line access to standards, specifications, and handbooks. Search by area, RELI, MAINT, etc. and you will get a shopping list of all related documents. Mil documents can be downloaded while commercial standards, though listed, must be purchased. PDF reader is all that is required. Some of the docuements can be word searched using the PDF search capability. Depends how they were created initially.
