Subject: Rotating Equipment Failures
I am looking for information to quantify the reasons various types of rotating equipment fail. I would like data on some typical rotating equipment types like motors, fans, pumps, compressors, etc. if available. The data will be used to pareto the causes of failures for evaluating options required for satisfactory condition monitoring. I would appreciate any information. Thx Phil Coseno

I would suggest that one of your resources should be the Reliability Analysis Center data book entitled Failure Mode / Mechanism Distribution Code FMD-91
