Subject: Hardware Failure Rates
What is the best reference document to obtain the generic failure rates for computer hardware components such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, memory, processor etc etc. Thanks for any help.

The Reliability Analysis Center (RAC) offers a tool called SELECT. It can be review at the following URL I would suggest that you obtain this tool and use it in conjunction with calling the manufacturer and asking for the exact Model Manufacturers data. This will give you an overview as a general data point as well as an exact match in relationship to the equipment model Serial number that you are using. RAC's tool NPRD also has some data in a generic sense for most items.
