Message: I try to explain simply :
- from Time 0 to the first failure = MTTF
- from failure "i" to failure "i+1" = MTBF
- from failure "i" to return to service = MDT
- from return to service to failure "i+1" = MUT
MTTF = Mean Time To first Failure
MTBF = Mean Time Between Failure = MUT + MDT
MUT = Mean Up Time
MDT = Mean Down Time
