Nineteen reliability models for mechanical and electromechanical items are detailed in the Carderock “Handbook of Reliability Prediction Procedures for Mechanical Equipment”. This handbook is produced by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, which is located in Bethesda, MD. The address is :
NSWC Carderock Division

Other reliability data, failure rates based on past experience, are available from the Reliability Analysis Center’s Non-electronic Part Reliability Data handbook. This product [NPRD-95] is available from our catalog and the table of contents can be seen on our web page http://rac.alionscience.com.
