Subject: Electronics Dictionary
Can anyone recommend an easy-to-follow electronics dictionary with illustrations? I am starting to do some board reliability analysis but I do not have the background to know the differences between say a ceramic cap vs an electrolytic cap. The illustrations would be very helpful in trying to determine what the components is on the board. Thank you for your help.

Sources of electronic part information are: "Electronic Components, Selection and Application" by Victor Meeldijh, John Wiley & Sons NY,NY 1996; Mil-Hdbk-978B NASA Parts Application Handbook, 1989; The Illustrated Dictionary of Electronics Fifth Edition, R.P.Turner & S.Gibilisco, TAB Professional Reference Books, Blue Ridge Summit, PA. The first reference has very detailed drawings of many electronic parts including break-out sub-level pictures.
