Message: Software FMEA is the procedure by which each potential failure mode in the product is analyzed to determine the results on the product and to classify each potential failure mode according to its severity and criticality to the system. The actions taken are similar to the hardware FMEA. The RAC product "Introduction to Software Reliability" has information on all software reliability elements. This product is available from our product catalog at http://rac.alionscience.com.
