Bob and Larry, the problem with MIL HDBK 217 F is that latest notice 2 is dated from 1995, so it is out of date. If you look in the "Journal of RAC", in advertisement from RELEX, Reliasoft, Item Software, ... you can find more recent database: CNET RDF 2000, 299B, Bellcore. Still using 217 will lead to pessimistic prediction and new components cannot be find !
