Subject: Reliability Data for Liquid Process Equipment
Message: Hello,
I am searching for reliability data (ie. hazard function parameters) for liquid process equipment (ie. pumps, valves, mixers, membranes, scraper mechanisms, tanks, heat exchangers, etc., and their subcomponents). I realize that reliability engineering has been driven mostly by the electronics industry, but would like to know if someone can point me in the best direction to find extensive data, preferably in electronic database format in this field.
If you can offer any guidance, I would appreciate very much hearing from you at: twendlin@omiinc.com
Thank You very much

Message: Hullo Tom,
The OREDA database is an excellent source of data on liquid handling equyipment. Their website is
http:lloreda,com
The data is available in book form from DNV in Norway; the electronic database is only available to the participating Oil & Gas companies.
Their data structure is encapsulated in ISO 14 224 1999.
