what is the effect of operating a product like a switch in Central Office for a max. of 3 hrs per day (in non air conditioned location) at 45C? How that will affect MTBF for the product? Telcordia predictions are for 40C Ambient ??

Telcordia Method 1, Cases 1 and 2 default to 40C, however, Case 3 in the standard is a stress prediction, similar to 217, where you can use any ambient temperature. The difference between 40C and 45C will be very small. Joe
