Message: I just passed ASQ CRE without taking any courses. I bought ASQ CRE Prime and CD, studied at home by myself. (I am a Reliability Engineer in a High-Tech company).
My experience is you don't need to take any course for an ASQ examination, you just need to have related knowledge and experience

Message: Linaxi said it right. Only CRE primer from ASQ is enough to get thru the exam. I also recommend Bryan Dodson Reliability Handbook. It really gives insight into couple of topics.
