If someone could mail me the answer to this, I would appreciate it. I know very little about this and would like to know the answer. Why can't an electric motor running a machine from a battery be hooked up to a device to recharge the battery as the electric motor runs. I know this can be done with the alternator in a car, but why not on an electric car. I know this is elementary, but I would like to know the answer. Brent Wolford bwolford@netsync.net
