Another IEEE book called "Design of Reliable Industrial and Commercial Power Systems" IEEE Std 493,1990 has reliability data that is more up-to-date and could be useful for an analysis. The best data source for power systems is the PREP (Power Reliability Enhancement Program) database which was collected for the Army. In this database, reliability figures of merit are developed for a number of equipments and sub-levels for power distribution systems, power generators and HVAC equipments. This database is controlled by the Army Special Mission Office at Fort Belvoir VA. The contact point is: Mr. Peyton Hale, Special Mission Office, Telephone 703-704-2761.
