I have some problems with reliability tests on complex system like mobile equipments or air crafts and such things. Normally, We can't afford to test for all the missions, because of test cost and time, etc,. I wonder it's silly question, How do you do the test for above such things ? Do you usually test the parts and components first, and end item eventually ? Otherwise only for end item ? In case the test results can't meet the specification, Did you normally have enough budget for the test and engineering change ?
